Darren Schwartz, M.D.
Dr. Schwartz received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. After completing residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, he moved to the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin for fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Dr. Schwartz also completed Advanced Endoscopic training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, where he was a member of the academic faculty. There, he helped train medical students, residents and fellows in the field of gastroenterology. He has authored numerous publications on a wide variety of gastrointestinal topics. Dr. Schwartz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, following major league baseball, and listening to the croonings of Frank Sinatra.
