Dr. Timothy Schubert received his undergraduate degree and Medical Doctorate from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, New York. He completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Nassau County Medical Center in Long Island, New York. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. Prior to coming to Tacoma, he taught at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Kansas City and at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Schubert is the author of over 45 articles focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. He is involved in community service, has served as Chief of Staff at Allenmore Hospital, and is currently a Minister at his church. Dr. Schubert and his wife enjoy bicycling, hiking, cross-country skiing, theater, playing musical instruments, and ballroom dancing.
