A graduate of Michigan State University, Dr. Tom Reinertson completed his combined Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He then completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology, also at Albany Medical College. Dr. Reinertson is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He now works exclusively as a GI Hospitalist and is proficient at interventional endoscopy and ERCP.

Originally from Flint, Michigan, Dr. Reinertson came to Puyallup in 1991, and has raised four children. His eldest two daughters attend the University of Washington and are on their sailing team. His son and youngest daughter are in middle school, they are active in Soccer, Lacrosse, Drama, and Sailing. Dr. Reinertson's other passion is racing his sailboat, Surfer Girl, where you can find him almost any weekend on Puget Sound.
