Linda Neel was born in Tacoma and was raised in Gig Harbor. She has lived in Tacoma since completion of her nursing education at Pacific Lutheran University. She is licensed as a Registered Nurse and has been certified in gastroenterolgy nursing, by the national certifying board, since 1985.

Linda worked at Allenmore community Hospital for 25 years: 2 years in medical-surgical nursing, 8 years in intensive/coronary care nursing, and in the gastroenterology unit for 15 years. She joined Digestive Health Specialists in 1996. Manometry and 24-hour-pH studies have been her specialty since 1983. She has attended a national advanced course in this specialty since 1997.

Outside interests include photography, studying local history, bicycling and canoeing. Currently, Linda makes her home in Fircrest with her husband, Dale. They have a married daughter, who is a radiologic technologist. Their son attends college, majoring in physics. Linda looks forward to "taking good care" of her customers at Digestive Health Specialists.
