Al Morriss, PA-C attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where he obtained a degree in Biology. He then went on to Western Medical College of Allied Health in Salem, Oregon where he obtained a diploma in Surgical Technology. Following that, Mr. Morriss attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham where he obtained his degree as a Physician Assistant. He is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants. Mr. Morriss worked in cardiac surgery before joining Digestive Health Specialists. In his spare time, Mr. Morriss enjoys playing electric bass and occasionally joins in playing with his church band.
