Dr. David Lee received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He interned and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas in Houston. He completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). He was an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at UAB for three years before joining Digestive Health Specialists. Dr. Lee is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife and son. His hobbies include running, gardening, and racquetball.
