Laboratory/Pathology

Digestive Health Laboratory offers an independent full-service clinical lab that is CLIA certified and contracted with all major insurances.

Our laboratory has a highly experienced staff and board certified pathologists, as well as our own histology department so all pathology specimens are handled at our Laboratory.

The lab is conveniently located in Suite 340 of the 2202 Medical Plaza building on the corner of South Cedar Street and South 23rd Street in Tacoma.

Normal hours of operation are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

James Kelley, M.D.
Medical Director
  • Board certified in clinical and anatomic pathology
  • 35 years experience in surgical pathology
  • 10 years experience in practice restricted to endoscopic GI biopsies.
Angela Fields, M.D., PhD
  • Board certified in clinical and anatomic pathology
  • 1 year specialty fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology at Emory University
Margaret Richardson, MD
  • Board certified in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology
  • Over 20 years experience in surgical pathology
