Dr. Lin Huang obtained his medical degree at the Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China. He then went on to study microbiology at UCLA and obtained a Ph.D. in Immunology at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He served an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Huang served his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a Harvard Medical School Teaching Affiliate in Boston, Massachusetts. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Huang holds an academic appointment of Clinical Instructor in Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is the author of one book chapter, two review articles and more than 10 original scientific papers. His professional memberships include the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. His chief clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, peptic ulcer disease, and viral hepatitis. In his spare time, Dr. Huang enjoys playing classical Spanish guitar, skiing, and ice skating.
