Dorothy Gonzaga, ARNP completed her baccalaureate degree in Public Health at the University of the Philippines Institute of Public Health and went on to the Fatima College of Medicine in Manila where she completed her degree as a Doctor of Medicine. She served as a volunteer physician for a church-based free clinic before migrating to the United States. Family obligations interrupted her medical career for a while and Ms. Gonzaga held various jobs during this time including working as a medical interpreter and as a gourmet cheesecake entrepreneur before deciding to go to nursing school. She then worked as a Registered Nurse on the medical-surgical/oncology floor at Tacoma General Hospital while completing a Master Degree in Family Nurse Practitionership at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. In her spare time, Ms. Gonzaga enjoys reading, taking care of her two children, and watching television with her husband.
