A graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Dr. Angela Fields completed her Pathology Residency, Surgical Pathology Fellowship, and Gastrointestinal and Hepatic Pathology Fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Fields is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, College of American Pathologists, American Society for Clinical Pathology, American Gastroenterological Association, and Gastrointestinal Pathology Society. Dr. Fields was born and raised in Washington, DC. Prior to medical school, she was an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering. She received her Engineering Degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins University, and University of Virginia. Dr. Fields, her husband, and son enjoy traveling and outdoor sports.
